Sunday Letter #33: A Week of Small Wins

February 8, 2026

Hi friends,

This week had a lot of small wins, which honestly might be my favorite kind.

It’s officially been three weeks since I started working out with my new trainer, and I can actually see a difference in my progress photos. I wish I were comfortable sharing them here, but you’ll have to trust me when I say… I see it. The new macros are clearly making a difference, and that alone feels incredibly motivating.

Case in point: I made the best high-protein, low-calorie banana chocolate chip muffins the other day, and even Hassaan loved them. And this man does not tolerate “healthy” baked goods. They were made with oat flour, had no oil or butter, and somehow still tasted like a real treat. I’ll link the recipe here because this one is a keeper.

On the home front, I finally sat down and worked through layouts for both the new bathroom design and the closet. The bathroom came together pretty smoothly, but the closet has been trickier. It’s a tight space, and I’m realizing I’m absolutely going to have to reduce how much we keep in there. There’s just no designing your way out of too much stuff. Here are some before pictures:

That said, I found clear shoe organizers that I’m one hundred percent buying for the new walk-in closet, and they already feel like a win. I’ve also been saving inspiration images nonstop, and I’ve been especially inspired by Chris Loves Julia’s new closet remodel. The layout is very similar to mine, which feels reassuring. I’ll also need a cute step ladder to reach the higher cabinets I’m planning, and I found the sweetest one. I have a similar ladder in my office and we use it constantly.

Looking ahead, Ramadan starts February 17, so I’m trying to get ahead on meals now so I can focus on fasting and prayer during the month. I recently started ordering healthy meals from a local service called Platr, and they’ve been excellent with great macros. I’ll be ordering from them during Ramadan as well, and they shared a code with me. You can use FARIHA10 for 10% off your order if you want to try them.

Things I'm Loving:

And one last win before I wrap this up: I went up in weight on the leg press. I did three sets of twelve at 60 pounds, and it felt huge for me. I’ve always considered myself weak, so seeing progress, even in small ways, really does change how you show up.

That’s it for this week. Feeling motivated, a little sore, and excited to keep going.

Until next time,

Fariha
