Sunday Letter #32: Hope you’re staying warm today 🤍

January 25, 2026

Hi friends,

I missed last Sunday’s letter, so consider this a two-for-one. Life has been busy in that “everything is happening at once” kind of way.

First up, a quick weather note. A big part of the country is bracing for serious winter weather, and here in Houston we’re expecting a hard freeze. Stores are cleared out, and I shopped too late and ended up with only a gallon of fancy alkaline spring water. We're gonna be very hydrated, albeit slightly underprepared. Please take the weather seriously and make sure you and your people are set.

In other news, I started working out with a new trainer. I’m training online with Gym with Nefurjen, and she has me eating ~120 grams of protein a day, which feels… ambitious. I’ll report back in a month once my body decides how it feels about this plan. So far I've been loving the extra burst of energy and it's helping me lift heavier at the gym!

On the work front, I got my upcoming book's layout back from design, and it’s been a marathon going through it page by page making tiny adjustments. Spacing, captions, photos, all the details. The exciting part is that we’re officially at the stage where we’re about to start looking at cover options, which still feels unreal.

Quick comfort rec before I wrap this up. I got the comfiest slip-on sneakers a couple months ago and have been wearing them nonstop on walks. They’re dupes for Hokas, incredibly comfortable, and easy to throw on. Highly recommend.

And finally, I’ve started planning mood boards for the bathroom and closet remodel. It’s early days, but I’m meeting with a contractor friend to go over options and timelines, and I’m excited to see where it all lands.

What I'm Loving:

That’s it for now. Stay warm, stay safe, and I’ll see you next Sunday.

Until next time,

Fariha
