Hi friends,
This week has been all about dreaming up my powder bath makeover. It’s funny, this was actually the first room I tackled when we moved into this house. I was in my farmhouse era then, and I had someone put up shiplap and found the cheapest vanity I could that still looked halfway decent. It worked for the moment, but now… I’m so ready for a change.
This time, the vision feels much more like me. I’m using my Jaal wallpaper in purple tan on the top half of the walls, paired with stained wood paneling on the bottom for warmth and depth. The fixtures will stay timeless and neutral with a Kohler Memoirs pedestal sink and toilet, classic pieces that set the stage. But the mood? I want it to feel like a jewel box. Rich, layered, a little unexpected. The kind of room that makes you smile every time you open the door.
It feels like such a full circle moment to reinvent the first space I ever touched in this house - shedding that farmhouse chapter and stepping into something more refined, personal, and bold.
